Our Little Monkey!

Well the tittle to this little entry was going to michaelangelo, sorry if it's not spelled right, but now it is our little monkey. First this afternoon we were all downstairs just having a really late lunch. My dad looks over at Kelden and asks what he has. I ran over there and he has paint all over the carpet. My mom had put a can of pain right next to the laundry room door. We didn't move it in time. So now my parents have a lovely yellow stain right by the laundry room door. Luckily he didn't put his hands in his mouth! We were so worried about him putting them in his mouth that we didn't stop to think about pictures. It would have been funny to see. He had yellow pain all the way up his legs, all over his P.J.'s and his hands. He even got some in his hair. So we gave him a bath, which he had way to much fun doing as usual. Then we went and saw Tim's new toy!! It is so incredibly awesome!!
Then we came home and went upstairs to read and do little projects. Next thing we knew Ben thought he heard sprinklers, well it ended up being soda spilled on the carpet!! Watch out Sam and Samantha, hopefully your little Hollie isn't the adventerous type. Now about every two min. we have to run over to the gate to catch our little monkey before he knocks the gate and himself down the stairs. He just looks at us and smiles. How can you get mad at such a cute little face. We are going up to the canyons tonight with my family. I hope we don't have any more stories to tell for the day! I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Oh, how exciting. I wish I could offer some comfort, that it doesn't last or the messes decrease! They just get into more and more as they move through all their stages and it continues even when they are four-but then nothing is off limits. It is cute to see how their minds work and their fascination with the world all around them. It is a good thing they are washable and so are we or what a mess we would be in. I hope the canyon was fun! Dirt, leaves, rocks a boys best friend.
