It's really been over a year?!

Holy cow I can't believe that it has been over a year since I have blogged!! Life is so busy. I probably won't be much better but I thought I would atleast give a few updates.

Kelden is 5 now! Going to preschool 3 days a week, most days he loves it. He loves to sit back and observe. This one has got a little temper, he is following in his mother's footsteps and gets way to stressed way too easily. :( He has such a cute smile that reaches his eyes! Brightens my day when I see him smile.


Spencer is now 3 and so full of energy. Kelden and Spencer love to play dress ups and play superheroes. This little one doesn't stop. We started a joy school with a few friends in the neighborhood a few weeks ago. He is so excited to start school, just like Kelden! He got this helmet for his 3rd birthday. (This is why I don't blog, my photos never load. The files are too big. I am done for tonight. I will try again tomorrow.)

What happens when you leave your husband and oldest child in the bathroom while you go and get the other dressed. . .



Ben comes out laughing, and says "It popped!"

Kelden got some foam soap for Christmas from Grandma Reeves, daddy and Kelden had way to much fun with it tonight!! It was so cute, they were both so happy, nevermind the foam all the way up the wall and all over Ben, Kelden and the tub.

I couldn't get all of my pictures to load but here are a few. I will try again another night to post the rest.

Finally

I decided to finally update my blog! I can't believe it has been so long. There is so much to catch up on, I don't think I will be able to so I will just start from here, and try and blog atleast once a month.

Random

So I was reading everyboy's blogs and really started missing everyone. I miss having adult time, and going and doing things with friends. I love being a mom, but I have really missed going out. But we did go to Harry Potter tonight with the Hoffmans!! It was good, not as good as I thought it would be, but it was really funny! So much I need to get done, and not enough time. Had a showing yesterday, and then again today, same person. It's a toss up between our condo and another place. Very mixed emotions about it, but hope it works out.

Cooking Fiasco

So this was my cooking fiasco, it was so funny to open the oven and see this!! I don't think I have ever seen German pancakes that high. I must be good!

We let Kelden use flour and water on the floor, we were busy for a few min. and looked over and this is what we found!

And this is what Kelden thought of Spencer being so messy. He kept freaking out and saying "clean up baby, clean up baby!!"

I tried getting this all on video but it didn't quite work out.

We were over at Hoffman's over Memorial Day. Jackson brought Kelden a very fun surprise! Jackson was so sweet and gave his McQueen remote control car to Kelden. He loves that thing! He plays with it all the time. He still doesn't quite know how to work it yet, but we are working on that.

New look, I am working on a new look for my photography site. it will only contain my cards and things that I am selling. I don't really do a lot of sessions so I thought it would be more productive. I will let every one know when it is done! i am really excited about it.

Mr. Clean vs. Mr. Mess

Kelden can't stand to have anything on his face or hands. if he even gets the smallest thing on his hands or face he completly freaks out! It's kind of funny, but really hard to go and get a rag (or "drag") or wipe every few min. On the other hand Spencer can't wait to feed himself. I turn around for a few seconds and he has got the bowl in one hand and the spoon in the other with food all over the place! It is really cute though!! My boys are so funny.

A life to Celebrate

Early Saturday morning my Grandpa passed away. We miss him dearly, but are so happy that he doesn't have to suffer any more. I keep thinking about the wonderful reunion he must have had with my Grandma! It will be weird not to have him downstairs anymore, but I know that he is happy. I always go to my mom's house on Thursday nights to teach a lesson and paint with family. I helped with grandpa for awhile, it was nice to feel important with helping him. I was able to tell him that I loved him, and he responded like he used to "I love you too." He hadn't been very responsive this week, it was really nice to have him say that to me! I am so glad that we went down on Thursday and got to say our final goodbyes. I will miss you grandpa!

Fun Times

So yesterday was such a good day. Ben was gone until 8:30 so that was not so nice, but I was able to handle the kids until then and still be in a really good mood. I don't if that has ever happened!! We decided to make a fire engine out of a box we had. So we painted paper plates, Kelden wanted to paint with his feet.(Now mind you that anytime I have even come close to putting anything on his feet besides socks and shoes he freaks out!!) It was amazing. We had a lot of fun. I put him up to the sink to wash his feet and we decided to get in the sink diaper and all. Spencer was just hanging out on the floor having fun with his toys. He is such a good baby now!

I knew . . . but then I didn't

I have really been struggling lately with the terrible twos. How can I have such a sweet little boy, who in a few days turns into a terror, with his new favorite words "mine" and "no!" He now loves to hit and kick Spencer, Won't take naps any more, doesn't sleep in his own bed past midnight. I knew this time would come but I had no idea it could be this hard. I used to be a pretty patient person, several years ago, and was still doing ok until these past few weeks. I knew that having another child would be hard, but then I didn't. HELP!! I am going crazy. Please if you have any advice for me I would love to hear it. They also sleep in the same room, and advice there?

I don't have pictures of that one because we all went to sleep, except for Ben, who stayed up and played video games, and then being the sweet husband which he is, came in and kissed me at midnight!

Ode To Ben

3 years and 2 kids later, I am still so much in love!! Today is our 3rd Anniversary. It has been a wonderful day. Ben gave me a game and my favorite drink, Kearns Peach Nectar, and the new David Artchuleta CD. I gave him a new Lego set and Scrubs season 7.

I absolutly love everything about Ben, but most of all I love how much he loves me. I know that he would do anything for me. I am so grateful for the love he has for our two boys. It can be frustrating for both of us at times, but we each love them so much! He teaches me more than he realizes. It is so nice to wake up in the morning for the first and second times and have him right next to me. I wish he were there the third and sometimes fourth times. My poor sweetheart is so busy and tired, but I really appreciate how much he does for our little family.

These past 3 years have been the best years of my life!! I just wanted a little bragging time and wanted everyone to know how much I love Ben!!

I LOVE YOU MY SWEETHEART!!
